Harvey Support and Resources

I’ve been thinking a lot about Harvey and its devastation. I almost don’t know what to do.

I wanted to not let more time go by before sharing information that I’ve collected about this horrible flood.

I’m not positive that these organizations are 100 percent wonderful but they are a start towards finding hope in these difficult times.

Please comment with your thoughts about these organizations and with any suggestions you might have to help support our fellow Texans.

Harvey General Support and Resources

If you’re a psychologist and want to support on the ground in Texas, here’s information from San Diego Psychological Association about how to do just that:

If you want to give to a mental health clinician and her family who survived but are impacted greatly: https://www.youcaring.com/alyssabaker-918644 I know the woman who organized the fundraiser from a join coaching group we have participated in together for the last couple of years.

If you want to help trans people in Texas get support: http://www.tfahouston.com/all-catagories/news/trans-relief-fund/

Share your psychotherapy office with a Houston, TX therapist who was impacted by Harvey: https://www.facebook.com/HoustonAMFT/
