Preparing for Tomorrow

Preparing for tomorrow

It started tonight with Shabbat services at a local synagogue, a safety plan or two, coordinating rides and places to meet fellow marchers, planning outfits including rain gear, and gathering snacks for the day ahead.

Tomorrow we march. I’m hoping for a vibrant, beautiful, peaceful march,

A celebration of social justice,

A showing that we, marchers, protesters, care about the vulnerable, oppressed, mourning, fearful, and hurting people in our midst. Now is the time to fight for equality, affordable and quality health care, kindness, open borders, religious freedom, LGBTQIQA - rights, women’s rights, dis/ability rights, a dismantling of white privilege, and all that is needed for a just society.

In solidarity for equal rights today, tomorrow, and always,
