Group Therapy

Some people keep having the same relational difficulties over and over again. Many are looking for a way to connect with community members in a safe, therapist-monitored space. Others want to learn skills and end shame over their diagnoses and/ or identities. Groups can help ease people figure out better ways to interact with others, helping to bring them better relational success. Waves' current groups are for: those who have been diagnosed with ADHD and are mental health clinicians (Clinicians with ADHD); clients with ADHD who identify as LGBT (LGBT and ADHD); Intersex Support Group; and an 18+ LGBT Support Group (LGBT and Me). Relationship(s) Therapy

Relationship Therapy with a Waves' therapist provides a welcoming space for partner(s) to work out their difficulties. Some couples and/or partnerships struggle with how to cope when one partner comes out as trans. Others are looking for a space to better cope with their partner(s) ADHD or other mental health disorder. Some multifaith  or interreligious couples need space to work out their cultural expectations of their relationships with the help of a therapist.
